Become a VR Artist and Coder in One Day

I created an introductory VR exercise for EXSM 3928 (Code for Designers) to help students feel immediate impact when writing code in to influence the visual design.

Students had had to customize a VR scene by adding their own geometries and textures to a prebuilt VR template (A-Frame, ThreeJS, Glitch). Many students had no coding experience and even mentioned they were apprehensive about the course, but every student has completed this exercise.

I feel this is an excellent example of how I helped students combat anxiety and support their self confidence in a technical course through experience design.
